A credit card is a piece of plastic, which carries electronic information. A person can use a credit card by swiping it only a credit card reader to send the card information to be verified. The size of a credit card is 3-1/8 "x 2-1/8". You can use your credit card to buy goods and can pay them later. So it is also called as electronic money.

A brilliant track on the back of the credit card is required as magstripe, which is the main thing on the credit card. When someone swipes the credit card at magstripe reader, the information is sent to the central tracking system, which has all the information about the card owner, the balance details, country, postal code etc. There trillion of credit cards issued in the EU People have a minimum of 2 credit cards in your name.

With the e-commerce picking up, the amount of money spent by credit card is set to rise. If credit cards are used wisely, it could be a great tool. Most consumers do not use it in a correct way and not pay the monthly credit card bills on time. If you do not pay the credit card bills on time, and then interest rates will add to capital and the amount payable would increase. Interest rates charged by credit card companies are very high. So use your credit card wisely.
